Our Pastor

Rev. Alan Gray (right rear of photo)  has served as Pastor of ROPC since 1999. Alan and his wife Kelley (right front) have three children – Aidan, Collin and Lily. Before moving to Marion, Alan served for six years as an Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Families in Darnestown, Maryland.

Originally from North Carolina, Alan and Kelley met while attending UNC-Chapel Hill. Kelley works as a Physical Therapist at Smyth County Community Hospital. Alan is a 1993 Graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California (Masters of Divinity) and in May, 2016 he completed his Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. 

Kelley & Alan have three grown children: Aidan (left rear) & his wife, Junessa (left front) live in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Collin (center rear) lives in Richmond, VA and Lily (center front) also lives in Richmond.
