Walk Thru the OT Weekend

Friday, November 9, Saturday, November 10 & Sunday, November 11

Experience an event that unveils God's Word as you've never known it before.  As you walk through the Old Testament, you'll realize that the Bible is coming to life and your knowledge of its people, places, and themes is rapidly increasing.  In just a few short hours, you'll see the big pictures of God's Story and how it fits together.  Most of all, you'll develop a deeper connection with the God who wants you to know Him and will never stop pursuing your heart.

We welcome Dr. John B. Woodward, a Walk Thru the Bible Associate Instructor, to Royal Oak on Friday and Saturday.  He will be leading the Old Testament program.

We'll begin our weekend together with a lasagna dinner on Friday at 6:00 p.m.  The OT program, led by Dr. John B. Woodward, will be from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  We'll gather again on Saturday morning with a light breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and the OT program will be from 9 a.m. - noon.  We're partnering with Resurrection Church for the weekend and on Sunday Chad Owens will be leading Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Sunday Worship will be at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary.  We'll finish the weekend with a potluck lunch served at noon in the Fellowship Hall.  Fried chicken and drinks will be provided, please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Registration is $3 per person or $10 max per family.  This is for the Walk Thru the OT workbook for Friday night and Saturday morning.  To register, call or email the church office.  Child care will be available each day of the weekend.
